Where are the women?

Of all of the feedback and emails from the readers of microISV.com, I’ve never received anything from a female shareware developer. This is not a huge surprise if I simply reflect on all of the offices I’ve worked in, but I know there must be more than a few ladies out there working on the next killer app. Let’s hear from you, use the Submit Information link to the right.

I’m a woman and I read you with great interest, but I’m not indy myself. Just thinking about it and interested in the issues. I did cross post this to a women in engineering list I read trying to drum up some response. Best. Karen

I’m a woman shareware vendor. Nice to meet you!

  3. Mary Says:

I am an application developer. I would be interested in working with you, if my skill set is of use to the project.

  4. Margaret Says:

I am an application developer, with several products in the works. I get about 70% of the way there, and then run out of steam, enthusiasm, or get to the hard part that I put off to the last, so i’ve yet to come up with a product that’s ready for primetime. But I’m still working on it.

This group sounds like it might be a good place to get some help and support.

  5. Brian Says:

I’m glad to hear from all of you. Thanks for the responses.

I have a project that I have started working on but it is slow as I only can work on it now and then. Thanks to Karen for mentioning this site on another email group!
